I would like to live in a world where people are taught, from an early age, how valuable they are, and how to love themselves. A world where it isn’t silly, or even insane, to see and revel in the magic that is all around us every day, if we know how to look.

Knowing how to love and value yourself is much more use than logarithms, don’t you think?
Encouraging and allowing children, as they grow, to stay in "wonder mode" is vital. A world populated by people that are amazed and delighted by their surroundings, and looking for magic everywhere, would go a long way to help what ails us.
It would make me very happy if my writing and illustrations could help encourage this.

My Story – short bio
I have recently crossed the line into my sixth decade. I am now officially a crone, that very misunderstood character, often depicted as an ugly, malevolent, old woman or witch. (Disney, and the church, have a lot to answer for).
I prefer this definition;
Crone Goddess: The wisdom keeper, seer, healer and midwife, whose knowledge is sought out to guide others during life's hardships and transitions.

What’s a great surprise to me is that, I actually relish my crone-ness – who’d a thought?
